researched how photorealistic images can be
created efficiently simulating light-matter
interactions in a virtual scene. focused on
solving this problem with the help of machine
learning. My work led to multiple publications in
well regarded venues, received a "Best Paper
Award" at EGSR 2017, and was featured on the
cover of Computer Graphics Forum in 2017
(volume 36).
As part of this endeavor had the pleasure to
work on Disney's Hyperion Renderer, where
integrated findings from two of my research
papers.

In my thesis, developed an algorithm for
efficient rendering of heterogeneous,
polydisperse mixtures of grains, ultimately
leading to a publication at SIGGRAPH Asia. later
implemented the algorithm in Disney's Hyperion
renderer during a short stay at the animation
studios.
