ETH ETH Doctor of Science ETH Informatik 2016 2019 researched how photorealistic images can be created efficiently simulating light-matter interactions in a virtual scene. focused on solving this problem with the help of machine learning. My work led to multiple publications in well regarded venues, received a "Best Paper Award" at EGSR 2017, and was featured on the cover of Computer Graphics Forum in 2017 (volume 36). As part of this endeavor had the pleasure to work on Disney's Hyperion Renderer, where integrated findings from two of my research papers. ETH Zurich Master of Science ETH (MSc), Informatik 2014 2016 In my thesis, developed an algorithm for efficient rendering of heterogeneous, polydisperse mixtures of grains, ultimately leading to a publication at SIGGRAPH Asia. later implemented the algorithm in Disney's Hyperion renderer during a short stay at the animation studios. ETH Zirich Bachelor of Science ETH (BSc), Informatik 2011 2014 In my thesis, developed an algorithm for stabilizing shaky video footage based on "Bundled Camera Paths" [Liu 2013].
