Some time ago, there was a Twitter thread featuring the weebs on both sides of the war (a
Ukrainian soldier with a Itachi patch, a Russian helmet with a NERV logo); it was unfortunately
deleted, but one thing I'll probably never forget is a Russian grenade with something like "To the
anime world" written on it, the idea being that they'd isekai themselves before being
captured/killed. Jesus, there's probably already a web novel with that very premise; "The State of
being Twice Mobilized; Once for P*tin, Then for a Dominant Elf-Queen."
