Hirohiko Araki
find it a little embarrassing to admit, but once
cosplayed as the White Ranger!
spent a good amount of money to buy the costume,
since there was high demand due
to the show's popularity at the time.
did it for a cosplay competition during
COMIKET 1982. don't regret it one bit,
because a huge fan of the White
Ranger. ended up in fourth place,
and as a consolation prize, got the first
volume of GANTZ (Too adult for my taste).
In third place was a girl dressed as Sailor Jupiter,
in second a guy dressed as Nobita.
The winner was a girl dressed as Athena,
from Saint Seiya. Her costume was just a purple wig
and a bikini. It wasn't a good costume at all,
but she had incredible breasts, so guess she won
because she gave everyone a boner, including me.
